PATIENT TESTiMONIAL

"At Diaverum, I found a team where people greet each patient by their name. They know your background and your prognosis, they explain everything you need to know and they make sure you have understood. As well as looking at the analyses, they ask you how you are, and they encourage you to do things properly and to continue. People who at times, I have cried with, and at other times, I have chatted and laughed with. People who, on their own initiative, somehow keep on finding the time and the will to look after you, and at Christmas, they surprise you with this touching card.

"You feel like going to human resources and asking them what profile they use to make that selection.

"In general, I think that the care I received in Diaverum goes way beyond the purely physical aspect. I believe in a holistic approach to health, and I really appreciate the fact that the clinic shares this philosophy and goes to the effort to provide the services of other professionals.

"Providing a social work service recognizes the impact the disease has on life beyond the physical aspect; on a material and relational level. Providing a nutrition service recognizes that the problem of diet is not solved by simply providing information, but that the patient needs to incorporate profound changes in their habits every day. As for psychology, for me, above all, it gave me an opportunity to live my life more than as a kidney patient, as a human being with an illness, but also with a life."
